AN IDENTIFICATION OF INDIVERTIBLE ELEMENTARY BILINEAR TIME-SERIES MODELS

Summary. One of the issues of identification of coefficient of elementary bilinear time-series model is indivertibility of the model due to displacement of global minimum of identification algorithm cost function. The paper shows that it is possible to change placement of this global minimum, so it is corresponding to real value of model coefficient.

ANALYSIS AND MEASUREMENTS OF BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR WITH MAGNETIC CIRCUIT MADE OF SOFT MAGNETIC COMPOSITE AND ND-FE-B BONDED MAGNET

Summary. Magnetic composites made of powder are more often applied in modern electric machines as magnetic circuits. These magnetic materials can be divided into two groups: soft magnetic composites and bonded permanent magnets. The main purpose of the work was to design, manufacture and measure parameters of a brushless DC motor with powder magnetic circuits. The powder magnetic core has been prepared from iron powder bonded by resin and 4 pole permanent magnet which has been prepared from powder of Nd-Fe-B melt-spun ribbon bonded also by resin. Permanent magnet DC brushless motor with nominal power of 250 W and rotational speed of 6000 rpm has been designed based on measured parameters of powder materials. Measurements of brushless DC motor supplied from commercially available electronic commutator have been done.

SIMULATIONS OF THE OPTIMUM INVERTER CONTROLLING DURING THE OPERATION FOR AUTONOMOUS GRID

Summary. Inverter is supposed to create 3-phase, autonomic and symmetric grid with the neutral line. In the preceding article [7] theoretical assumptions are presented and also applied method of inverter optimal controlling is described. Voltages of the created grid should be symmetric even with non-symmetric RL load, and also with the pulse load. This circuit also provides suppression of higher harmonics in the voltage of the created grid according to the given list of these harmonics. For this purpose, the optimal output voltage from the inverter is calculated, and it will be used to vector controlling of the inverter. In this article, simulations of the circuit under consideration are presented, which are supposed to confirm correctness and usefulness of the applied optimization method.

ACQUISITION PARAMETERS IN SYSTEMS WITH VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY CHANNELS

Summary. A method for processing of frequency-modulated pulse signal is presented in this paper. The method allows to acquire information about frequency of pulse signal in the same instants which voltage signals are sampled. The method allows using the same acquisition parameters for voltage and frequency data carrier.

WALKING ROBOT DESIGNED ACCORDING TO THE BEAM PHILOSOPHY

Summary. The paper describes basic assumptions of BEAM robotics introduced at the end of XX Century by Mark W. Tilden. BEAN is an acronym coming from: Biology, Electronics, Aesthetics, and Mechanics. BEAM robots do not have control algorithms but use artificial neural networks to control robot’s behavior. Paper describes also description of BEAM-like robot “Greg Walker” designed and constructed in Department of Mechatronics at Silesian University of Technology in frame of MsC Thesis. Greg Walker is small walking robot able to look for light sources and to omit obstacles.

AIS SYSTEM IN THE AREA OF POMERANIAN BAY

Summary. AIS (Automatic Identification System) plays an important role in providing information crucial to supervising vessel traffic services on a given sea area. It allows in a convenient quick method send information about the motion of the ship, the nature of its cargo and the port of destination. This paper presents a method of use and deployment of AIS transmitters on the Pomeranian Bay sea area, including their possible use for the purposes of traffic control services of the new LNG terminal in Świnoujście.

DGPS AND RTG POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR GAS TERMINAL IN THE AREA OF POMERANIAN BAY

Summary. Short description of GPS (Global Positioning System) and its differential mode is presented in this article. Proposal of modernization and some changes to the system construction itself are also included in this paper in accordance to LNG gas tankers needs and requirements which will enter Świnoujście LNG Terminal in nearest future.

MULTIPOINT INTENSITY-MODULATED FIBRE OPTIC SENSORS

Summary. This article presents the construction and measurement results for networks of fibre sensors used to measure pressure, liquid level and temperature. The measurement heads in the applied sensors take advantage of the following phenomena: disturbance in the reflection and bending loss.

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY QUALITY FOR A SELECTED WIND POWER PLANT

Summary. The electric energy quality assessment is based on the case of the modern Kamiensk Wind Power Plant and takes into consideration the indices described in PN-EN 50160 standard. Following the conducted measurements, it has been note that the parameters of electric energy quality in the Common Connection Point (CCP) of the power plant electric network 30 kV with the public power system 110 kV are guaranteed.
